Departure of Directors or Certain Officer; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

As previously disclosed, on June 22, 2021, the Board of Directors of Chimera Investment Corporation (the “Company”) appointed Subramaniam Viswanathan as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer and Principal Financial Officer, to be effective as soon as practicable, but not later than September 15, 2021. Mr. Viswanathan joined the Company on July 31, 2021.
